“It’s Halloween Saturday but there will be no tricks and the treat is just sharing a hot cup of coffee. So come out and let me know what’s on your mind and if there is anything that you believe needs my attention in the district,” says Councilman Tom Owen (D-8).
These coffees are one way the Councilman reaches out to residents of the district. There is no formal agenda or sign up required. It’s just an opportunity to talk one on one with the Councilman.
“It is very informal conversation over a cup of coffee,” says Owen.
