Councilman invites District 8 to come out and talk over coffee

Louisville – District 8 residents are invited to come out for a cup of coffee and a chance to talk about what’s going on in their neighborhoods.

          February’s “Talk with Tom” is set for Saturday, February 27th at Heine Brothers Coffee at the Douglass Loop, 2200 Bardstown Road beginning at 9:00am–11:00am.

          “We have had an interesting variety of weather so far this winter between snow and the 20’s and sunshine and the 60’s.  Despite the weather, I invite anyone who would to come on out and have a cup of coffee and talk with me about anything that might be on your mind,” says Councilman Tom Owen (D-8).  “No pressure and no formal agenda, just simple conversation.”

          The Councilman sponsors “Talk with Tom” once a month as a way of making himself available to the people of the district. There is no sign up required.
