April 25th & 26th, 2026

10am - 6pm

2026 marks the 54th anniversary of this rite of spring in one of Louisville’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods.

The Cherokee Triangle Art Fair is a juried fair with more than 200 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Art Fair is held in Louisville’s historic Cherokee Triangle neighborhood on tree-lined Cherokee Parkway between Willow Avenue and Cherokee Road. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming as they celebrate spring with old and new friends alike. The Art Fair began in 1972 and has been one of the area’s favorite events ever since.

In addition to a high-quality and diverse selection of art, patrons of the fair can enjoy food, drink, and entertainment. The popular Children’s Parade kicks off the event each year at 10:00 a.m., and all kids are welcome to participate in this joyful, themed march. Other attractions include the Cherokee Triangle Association booth with offerings of Cherokee Triangle branded merchandise and apparel, and the KMAC children’s art tent for fun, hands-on activities for the kiddos throughout the weekend.

The annual Cherokee Triangle Art Fair is the major fundraiser for Louisville’s Cherokee Triangle Association (CTA), and proceeds are returned to the community and neighborhood. The CTA uses proceeds from the Fair to fund summer concerts in Willow Park and to make donations to the Highlands/Shelby Park branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, Highlands Community Ministries, and other local charities.

Strictly Prohibited at the Art Fair

While inside the boundaries of the Art Fair event , which during this weekend includes Willow Park, the following is not permitted:

NO pets, NO weapons, NO outside alcohol, NO soliciting, NO vehicles or motorcycles, No cycling or riding Lime scooters.

We appreciate you respecting these rules for the safety and comfort of all attendees, volunteers and exhibitors at the art fair. Those who disregard them will be asked to leave.

You must be 21+ to purchase any alcoholic beverages at the Art Fair. Have your ID ready when you place your order.

Due to the art fair’s location in the center of the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood and Willow Park, unfortunately we’re unable to create or specify any kind of parking area for the event.  We know it can be tricky, but luckily there are several options nearby.

For attendees that plan to come by vehicle, your parking options are finding an open spot on a surrounding street in the neighborhood (along with the residents vehicles) to parallel park on, or parking in the nearby Bardstown Road business corridor and utilizing one of the metered spots or paid public lots there. We ask that you please be cautious while driving in the neighborhood as there are many pedestrians, including children, as well as wildlife and pets in the area. Please also be conscious of not blocking any alleys, driveways or traffic signs, and not driving into any landscaping.

For those with mobility challenges or aides, we recommend being dropped off and picked up by someone (or using a ride service like Lyft) directly outside one of the barricaded entrances to the Art Fair premises. They are on the corners of Willow Ave. + Cherokee Pkwy or Cherokee Pkwy + Cherokee Rd. These are the easiest areas for vehicles to pause and then to turn around or exit the area.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding of our limitations. Our traffic volunteers at the Art Fair entrances can answer any questions you may have and can point you in the right direction.

For those riding a bike, there is a bike rack in Willow Park near the playground that you may use. first come first serve. Please do not ride bikes, scooters or motorcycles through or inside of the Art Fair’s barricaded perimeter.

As always,  if you would like to avoid navigating the traffic and hunting for a parking spot in the neighborhood, we suggest (if you’re able to) walking, carpooling with others or using a car service/taxi to drop you off and pick you up. There are also a few Tarc stops not far from the Art Fair’s location.

Volunteer Info

Without volunteers to set up and work the event, the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair would not be possible. We’re always looking to add to our list of helpers and this year is no different. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of your neighbors and have lots of fun! This includes responsible teenage volunteers too, and it’s a great way for them to complete service hours for school.

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, we’d love to have you!  Please click the button below to see what help is needed and to sign-up for a shift or two.

Best in Show 2025

Congratulations to Tonya Tate with Nature’s Bath for receiving the Best in Show of the 2025 Cherokee Triangle Art Fair. Our jurors found her collection of handmade artisanal soaps and bath products to be both beautiful and expertly crafted. She was a favorite of the art fair by patrons, too! They couldn’t get enough of her delicious smelling soaps, lotions and bath bombs.
