2025 marks the 53nd anniversary of this rite of spring in one of Louisville’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods.
The Cherokee Triangle Art Fair is a juried fair with more than 200 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Art Fair is held in Louisville’s historic Cherokee Triangle neighborhood on tree-lined Cherokee Parkway between Willow Avenue and Cherokee Road. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming as they celebrate spring with old and new friends alike. The Art Fair began in 1972 and has been one of the area’s favorite events ever since.
In addition to a high-quality and diverse selection of art, patrons of the fair can enjoy food, drink, and entertainment. The popular Children’s Parade kicks off the event each year at 10:00 a.m., and all kids are welcome to participate in this joyful, themed march. Other attractions include the Cherokee Triangle Association booth with offerings of Cherokee Triangle branded merchandise and apparel, and a Children’s Art Tent for hands-on activities throughout the weekend.
The annual Cherokee Triangle Art Fair is the major fundraiser for Louisville’s Cherokee Triangle Association (CTA), and proceeds are returned to the community and neighborhood. The CTA uses proceeds from the Fair to fund summer concerts in Willow Park and to make donations to the Highlands/Shelby Park branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, Highlands Community Ministries, and other local charities.

While inside the art fair event space, including Willow Park, there are NO pets, weapons, outside alcohol or soliciting permitted. We appreciate you respecting these requests for the safety and comfort of all attendees, volunteers and exhibitors at the art fair.
You must be 21+ to purchase any alcoholic beverages at the Art Fair. Please stop by the green, Cherokee Triangle Association tent for an ID check and to receive your 21+ wristband.
Due to the art fair having always been held in the center of our neighborhood and park area, we’re unfortunately unable to create or specify any kind of parking area for events. We know it can be tricky, but there are plenty of public streets to park along nearby.
For attendees that plan to come by car, your parking options are finding a spot on one of the surrounding streets in the neighborhood (along with the residents vehicles) or utilizing one of the metered spots along Bardstown Rd. We ask that you please be cautious while driving in the neighborhood as there are many pedestrians, including children, as well as wildlife and pets in the area. Please also be conscious of not blocking any alleys, driveways or traffic signs.
For those with mobility challenges or aides, we recommend being dropped off by someone/a ride service directly outside one of the entrances to the Art Fair premises. They are on the corners of Willow Ave. + Cherokee Pkwy or Cherokee Pkwy + Cherokee Rd.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding of our limitations. Our traffic volunteers at the Art Fair entrances can answer any questions you may have and can point you in the right direction.

Booth applications for the upcoming CTAF will be accepted for submission until January 15th, 2025. Any artists/vendors who applied will be notified of their acceptance status in the weeks following.
At this time we do not need any Food and Beverage vendors, but appreciate you taking interest in our local event, and will update via our social media pages should anything change.
The application process for next year’s 2026 event will begin in mid-November of this autumn. Please check back for details then.

Volunteer Information
Without volunteers to set up and work the event, the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair would not be possible. We’re always looking to add to our list of helpers and this year is no different. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of your neighbors and have lots of fun! This includes responsible teenage volunteers too, and it’s a great way for them to complete service hours for school.
