Metro Parks to host public meetings in April

Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation will be hosting a series of public meetings at sites across the community from April 18-21, 2016.

The four public meeting sites were selected because an initiative or program offered at or near the site was gauged to have a high level of community interest. However, Director Seve Ghose said, the public is encouraged to come and weigh in on any topic.

“Our staff will be available and ready at the April meetings to address a wide variety of topics,” Ghose said. “We’re hoping for a good turnout and to receive valuable feedback.”

The meetings will typically start with a brief presentation and question and answer session facilitated by Director Ghose. After the session ends, Metro Parks and Recreation staff will be available to meet citizens individually on a variety of topics for the remainder of the meeting.
