There is a follow-up neighborhood meeting to the one held October 6th regarding the development of the former Phoenix Hill Tavern and surrounding sites. At the last meeting, the developers did not have a preliminary plan to show anything other than a rendered possible building elevation. Since that meeting, they have prepared a plan, which takes into account things that people said and advice that was received.

Accordingly, they will soon file a draft plan for pre-application review with the Division of Planning and Design Services (DPDS) that will be assigned a case number and case manager. They would like to show neighbors this updated plan, so that they might hear what thoughts, issues and perhaps even concerns you may have.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015at 7:00 p.m. at the Highlands Community Campus located at the comer of Barrett Ave. and E. Breckinridge at 1228 E. Breckinridge St. (Parking is located in the rear of the building; handicapped parking and access is in the front of the building.)

If you cannot attend the meeting but have questions or concerns, please call me, our attorney Bill Bardenwerper at 426-6688, or our land planning and engineering firm representatives Jon Henney or Amin Omidy at 627-8900.
