Olmsted Parks Conservancy Announces August Park Events

Victory Park Day!

Celebrate a great day in the park with many activities for all to enjoy.

Starting at 3:30pm, Remarks from Council President David James, Mayor Greg Fischer and to announce the start of the playground and sprayground project will be Conservancy President Layla George and Louisville Parks and Recreation Ben Johnson.

Hal & Ben’s Bike-In

It’s like a drive-in but with bicycles! This FREE event will feature live music, a family-friendly movie, food trucks, West Sixth Brewing beer, games, and more!

August Walking Tours

Learn about the community impact on Cherokee Park design and function in relationship to Frederick Law Olmsted’s intentions for the park. Tour led by our Certified Tour Guide, Denise Menard Davis.
